Steve Roberts joins as Amscreen’s new CTO
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new CTO, Steve Roberts. Steve has been with us for a few weeks now and we thought there was no better way to welcome him than with a Q&A.
Previously holding senior management positions in the telecoms, consumer product, and rail industries, Steve has over 20 years of experience in global positions covering electrical and electronic design, software development, and mechanical engineering.
The entire business is looking forward to seeing how he’ll approach this new role of Chief Technology Officer where he will be responsible for leading the design of our leading-edge products for functionality, quality, manufacturability, serviceability, and ensuring innovation underpins our market-leading position.
Steve’s appointment means we are saying a fond farewell to Dave Clark, who has been with us since 2016. We are incredibly thankful for all of Dave’s hard work and wish him all the best in the future.
We spoke to Steve as part of our new #BehindTheScreens interview series to get his take on the future of Smart Cities, the innovation of Amscreen’s technology and where he’s most looking forward to visiting now that lockdown restrictions are easing.
