  • Internal Auditor (Permanent)

    Amscreen is continuing to invest significantly in its business, people and processes in which this exciting vacancy of Internal Auditor has come about as part of the recent growth of the business and its future ambitions.

    This role is to sit within the Operations part of the business and is permanent and full-time.

    The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:

    • Assisting with the generation, execution and review of the audit plan to ensure the applicable ISO standards deployed are met and exceeded
    • Conducting the internal audits in accordance to the plan and compile audit reports and action plans
    • Following up on any action plans to ensure completion of agreed items in a timely manner and in accordance to the agreed plan
    • Helping to identify trends within the overall audits, suggesting recommendations for improvements and or containment
    • Providing suitable metrics and reporting on the QMS/business performance and inform the business of progress
    • Assisting in reinforcing the culture of continuous improvement and sustainable performance across the business
    • Assisting in hosting external audits

    You should have experience of auditing of Quality Management Systems within a Manufacturing business and specifically auditing to ISO19011 (Guidelines for Auditing Management System).

    The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate drive to improve operational efficiencies working across multiple departments and equally develop robust and scalable processes.

    You should possess the appropriate practical skills and abilities for this role including good IT and specifically Microsoft Excel skills as well as being a strong written and verbal communicator.

  • Software Engineer – Test Development (Permanent)

    Amscreen has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer – Test Development to join the Manufacturing Engineering team which has been identified as a new role within the business.

    The focus of this role is to primarily develop and maintain production test and verification software applications for sub-assemblies, modules and final products. With a bias on PC application software the role is to design and produce test applications to ensure delivered product quality.

    This position is permanent and full-time.

    The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:

    • The key aim of this role is to develop software applications for functional testing of product and data logging
    • Developing and maintaining product tracking software tools and databases
    • Providing test specifications for module, sub-assembly, final assembly and QA tests
    • Assisting with the development of production test strategies Module and Final assemblies
    • Maintaining existing test software to keep pace with NPI, new variants and change control
    • Developing and maintaining a close relationship with design engineering team to ensure products are designed for optimum manufacturing test solutions
    • Supporting factory test data logging on internal network and reporting tools
    • Assisting in the development of variant verification processes and tracking automation
    • Assisting with prototype builds and NPI, feedback design for assembly / test issues to engineering team
    • Providing production test support, assist in diagnostics and failure analysis
    • Specifying and implementing production test IT equipment in line with IT policies and procedures
    • Identifying test escapes and implementing continuous improvements
    • Providing work instructions to support product test and configuration
    • Working closely with the customer software and support teams to coordinate and integrate production test software

     

    The successful applicant should have an appropriate level of experience (3 – 5 years) in a similar test software or software development engineering role with experience of automated test and integrated test systems.

    The relevant skills and attributes for this role are excellent IT productivity tool knowledge (e.g. MS Office tools, Excel, Word etc) alongside core coding skills in C# using visual studio and SoC coding experience, embedded firmware, Arduino code, RPi or BeagleBone is also an advantage.

    The successful candidate will understand electronic principles and have experience of interfacing with APIs and control of external peripherals via serial interfaces, in addition to proficient knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu) and an understanding of SQL data interface.  A knowledge of LabView is also advantageous.

    You should have the ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and equally be proficient in data analysis skills.  Good written and verbal communication skills and being self-motivated with the ability to work individually and within a team environment are core skills and attributes for this role.

    You should be qualified to GCSE level including Maths and Physics and hold a Technical based Degree typically in Maths, Physics, Electronics or Computer Science.

  • Head of Customer Service (Permanent)

    Amscreen is continuing to invest significantly in its business, people and processes and is therefore expanding its post-sales & Customer Service Team that provides first class support to our customers and their 6,000 deployed outdoor digital screens across Europe.

    We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Head of Customer Service bringing together the Customer Support, Field Operations and Repairs functions in our business.   The role will have responsibility for developing and executing strategic planning to maintain our levels of exceptional post sales customer service.

    The role is permanent and full-time.

    The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:

    • Ensuring the Field Operations, Customer Support and Repairs continue to deliver a joined-up customer service and identify any opportunities for improvement
    • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators and service outcomes to maintain or better service levels in accordance with contractual terms
    • Establishing a suitable issue reporting process that identifies trends to enable suggested resolutions to be presented to the appropriate functions
    • Having responsibility for the Customer Support desk that ensure any issues are suitably logged, monitored and resolved
    • Having responsibility for the Field Service team that provide installation support, customer training and on-site maintenance support
    • Having responsibility for the Repair service for parts returned, ensuring repairs are conducted in a timely manner and to report on issues found with returned parts.
    • Ensuring accuracy of inventory at customer depots, suppliers and throughout the returns/repairs process
    • Using applicable techniques for forecasting, planning and resource management
    • Identifying any process improvements that support our passion for Sustainability and responsible business operations in this area

     

    The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in warranty and customer management within a high-end multi-year manufacturing and/or services organisation and experience of managing kit on a long-term warranty basis.

    You should demonstrate the drive to improve operational efficiencies alongside the ability to interpret and analyse complex data and convert to information to be acted upon.

    The successful candidate should possess appropriate IT skills including Microsoft Excel, strong data management and both written and verbal communication skills.

    Equally the ability to manage multiple disciplines in the business and demonstrate both commercial acumen and customer focus are key for this role.
