We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Technician to join the team at this pivotal stage of our growth and development.
You will report directly to the Field Quality Manager and the role is permanent and full-time.
This role works closely with the Field Quality Manager and the Technical Director, other key stakeholders and customers to support a network of outdoor advertising screens. This is primarily in the UK with some European travel as our network continues to grow in the future.
The role is split between site and field based requiring skills in diagnosing, identifying and resolving issues in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies with technical experience in supporting products and maintenance operation in the field.
A flair for quickly understanding engineering problems, implementing corrective measures and demonstrating enthusiasm to grow and learn to support Amscreen in continually improving product quality and maximising customer service is a key element of this role.
The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:
The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years’ electronics experience and an ability to use and apply documentation tools. Experience of technical support in the field and in the manufacturing test of electronic, electrical and mechanical products is desirable as is a knowledge of large outdoor advertising screens and IT and communication networking. Moreover, experience of remote monitoring software and associated diagnostic tools as well as an understanding of civil works is desirable.
You will have a flair for fault finding and problem solving on PC/electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and the ability to apply a pragmatic and analytical approach. You will be able to work unsupervised and independently and equally as part of the team.
You should demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills and a flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel both in the UK and abroad supported by the required documentation.
You should possess the relevant IT skills in Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
Qualified in line with relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical/engineering subject degree or a Time-Served Qualification supporting relevant experience is desirable.

Production Team Leader:
Amscreen has an exciting opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join the team at this pivotal stage of our growth and development.
The role is permanent and full-time.
The purpose of the Team Leader role is to lead the Production team within Amscreen’s manufacturing operations, driving the team to meet the goals set by the production management team.
Furthermore, the role will ensure that the production team meet the build requirements to the set production plans whilst operating within the process parameters set to achieve the desired quality, cost and output KPIs.

Electronics Development Engineer:
Amscreen currently has a fantastic opportunity for Electronics Development Engineers to join our team where importantly, you will be able to help ensure that Amscreen is recognised as being the most successful, creative and progressive business in the digital signage industry.
The role is permanent and full-time.
This role sits within the Software and Electronics Development team with a focus on the electronics used in the products for control and operation. Working with the team, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of electronic solutions for our Amscreen products.
We would not expect the right person to be proficient across all these areas, but they must display an ability to quickly absorb technical challenges, develop electronics and work with the technical teams to provide solutions.
The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:
The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years’ experience developing electronics with knowledge of the development life cycle and project planning. Experience with control systems, sensors and programming microcontrollers is desirable along with software (coding) appreciation.
You will have the ability to adapt quickly to new software, hardware and development platforms and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work unsupervised whilst being a team player.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related technical/engineering subject degree or a Time-Served Qualification in a related discipline is required.

Amscreen has an immediate exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join the Company working within an expanding Procurement team.
You will be joining the team at a pivotal stage in our growth and development having recently invested in a brand-new purpose-built facility which represents our ambitious expansion plans.
The successful applicant will support the Procurement Manager in line with Amscreen’s annual purchasing strategy with specific responsibility for managing commodities in line with MRP and sourcing to support business requirements.
You will have a sound knowledge for the procurement and specification of raw materials and propriety items used in a fast-paced electronics / engineering environment with active involvement in cross-functional working to source customer requirements and ensure the supplier can meet the expectations of our customer.

The successful applicant will ideally have an electronics engineering background and relevant experience within an engineering purchasing / supply chain environment and be proficient in the use of MS Office including Excel, MRP / ERP systems.
You will demonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written at all levels in the business with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as being a team player and results driven.
CIPS qualified or working towards is desirable.
