We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team at this pivotal stage of our growth and development. You will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and the role is permanent and full-time.
This role sits within Manufacturing Engineering primarily to provide support for production assembly operations to maintain product quality and customer delivery schedules. Providing clear work instructions, equipment and processes is key to ensuring that all products are manufactured consistently and conform to defined design quality standards.
This role also focuses on providing manufacturing support and continuous improvements to maintain quality, reduce manufacturing time and costs.

What are we looking for?
The successful applicant will have 2 to 3 years in a similar manufacturing support role with experience of electronic test and automated systems being an advantage. Experience with ERP systems, BOM structures and assembly routing in addition to Mechanical CAD viewing and design software is essential. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and standard work is also advantageous.
You must have excellent IT productivity tool knowledge in MS Office tools, Excel, Word etc, good written and verbal communication skills, a background of electro-mechanical module assembly and the ability to demonstrate problem solving and data analysis skills.
You should be self-motivated in which you can work alone and within a team environment. Mechatronics skills are an advantage.
You should be qualified to GCSE level in Maths and Science subjects and possess a relevant Technical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Science or Manufacturing Engineering) or possess relevant industry related experience.

We have an opportunity for a Customer Support Helpdesk Operative to join the team at this key stage of our growth and development. This role reports to the Support Manager and is full-time based on a rotational shift pattern which covers the hours of 6:00am to 6:00pm, 7 days per week including Bank Holidays.
This role is part of the Support team with a primary focus on performing 1st line support for our customer across the UK and Europe. The role includes telephone support, problem diagnosis and fault logging and may lead to a wider role to include some interaction with client support teams and client maintenance engineers.

Mechanical Design Engineer
We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team at this pivotal stage of our growth and development. You will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Projects Engineer and the role is permanent and full-time.
This role sits within the Engineering Mechanical Design team with a focus on creative design in newly developed products.

The successful applicant will have an Engineering background with an understanding of delivering design packages with the production of details, sub-assemblies and assemblies data, and be proficient in 3D design software (Solidworks preferable). PDM knowledge and an understanding of plastic component creation is also an advantage.
You will have knowledge of Sheetmetal fabrication and tolerancing and an appreciation of Electrical and Electronic components, design processes and best practice.
An understanding of plastic component creation is an advantage alongside FEA & CFD knowledge.

Field Operations Technician
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Technician to join the team at this pivotal stage of our growth and development.
You will report directly to the Field Quality Manager and the role is permanent and full-time.
This role works closely with the Field Quality Manager and the Technical Director, other key stakeholders and customers to support a network of outdoor advertising screens. This is primarily in the UK with some European travel as our network continues to grow in the future.
The role is split between site and field based requiring skills in diagnosing, identifying and resolving issues in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies with technical experience in supporting products and maintenance operation in the field.
A flair for quickly understanding engineering problems, implementing corrective measures and demonstrating enthusiasm to grow and learn to support Amscreen in continually improving product quality and maximising customer service is a key element of this role.

What are we looking for?
The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years’ electronics experience and an ability to use and apply documentation tools. Experience of technical support in the field and in the manufacturing test of electronic, electrical and mechanical products is desirable as is a knowledge of large outdoor advertising screens and IT and communication networking. Moreover, experience of remote monitoring software and associated diagnostic tools as well as an understanding of civil works is desirable.
You will have a flair for fault finding and problem solving on PC/electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and the ability to apply a pragmatic and analytical approach. You will be able to work unsupervised and independently and equally as part of the team.
You should demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills and a flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel both in the UK and abroad supported by the required documentation.
